Governance & Oversight

Advisory Board

SIMA360™ is guided by an advisory board of practitioners and researchers with direct experience in AI governance, enterprise risk, and business transformation. Their role is to pressure-test the framework against real-world implementation — not to rubber-stamp it.

CS
Dr. Charles (Chuck) Suscheck
Founder & Advisory Board Chair

Professional Scrum Trainer with Scrum.org for 14 years, working directly with businesses navigating the shift from traditional delivery models to AI-augmented ways of working. Author of the forthcoming book The AI Rush — Too Much Too Soon!, which examines the gap between AI capability and business maturity — the premise SIMA360™ is built on. Founded SIMA360™ to give that argument a practical, structured form businesses can apply rather than just read about, and as Chair, sets the board's mandate to pressure-test the framework rather than simply validate it.

Matt Anderson
Advisory Board Member — Enterprise Transformation Leader, SAFe Program Consultant (SPC)

25+ years leading enterprise transformation initiatives across large, complex businesses, with a practitioner's focus on turning strategic intent into disciplined execution. Gained hands-on experience operationalizing AI governance principles — human approval gates, verification over assumed trust, and deterministic-vs-judgment tool selection — not as theory but through building and running his own production AI system. As a SAFe Program Consultant, brings a structured, framework-driven lens to how businesses sequence and scale change, and advises SIMA360™'s Strategy Perspective, pressure-testing whether the framework's guidance holds up against how transformation actually unfolds inside an enterprise.

Bren Triplett
Advisory Board Member — Director, Information Technology Program & Assistant Professor, Colorado Christian University

35 years in enterprise IT, including large-scale database work at IBM and Verizon, giving him a firsthand view of how technology decisions play out at business scale over decades, not just individual projects. That practitioner background now informs his work in curriculum design and technology education in the College of Adult and Graduate Studies, where he trains the next generation of IT professionals. Contributed directly to SIMA360™'s training and certification curriculum, helping translate the framework into teachable, assessable material, and advises the People and Technology dimensions with both practitioner depth and an academic lens.

Dr. Kathy S. Lassila, Ph.D.
Advisory Board Member — Consultant and Author, Additive Manufacturing

Independent consultant and published author in additive manufacturing, with years of firsthand experience guiding manufacturers through the practical realities of adopting emerging production technology — where theory meets the constraints of the shop floor. That production-floor perspective informs how she advises SIMA360™'s Technology and Data dimensions, testing whether the framework's guidance survives contact with real operational constraints rather than idealized deployment scenarios, and giving the board a manufacturing-sector counterweight to more software-centric perspectives.

AS
Anita Shankar
Advisory Board Member — Agile Leader, AEP Charge (American Electric Power)

Leads agile transformation for AEP's electric vehicle charging business unit, driving how one of the country's largest regulated utilities adapts its delivery practices to a fast-moving, infrastructure-heavy business line. That work requires balancing agility with the operational discipline and regulatory scrutiny inherent to utility-scale businesses — a tension directly relevant to how AI governance has to function inside similarly regulated environments. Advises SIMA360™'s People and Process dimensions, bringing enterprise-scale operational discipline drawn from a highly regulated industry where change-management failures carry real operational consequences.
